The house is in a quiet location on a large lot of 6000 m, in the middle of the woods, but you can reach the centre of Willingen in 3 minutes by car. The "Essener Skihütte" is ideal for sport clubs, groups of friends, family reunions, company get together, etc.
The house has a large barbecue with grill area where you can barbecue in the evening with the entire group and enjoy the atmosphere of the campfire. You can also relax on the large terrace near the house, while the children play in the playground, play football or volleyball on the sport field or, in less favourable weather, entertain yourself during a game of table tennis or table football.
The "Essener Skihütte" is the ideal starting point for going mountain biking, hiking, skiing or cross country skiing. A lockable ski and bicycle storage in the house is at your disposal. Not only does the house offers a divers and exciting accommodation for the young and the old, but the environment had also a lot to offer. Such as earlier mentioned the marvellous Rothaarsteig runs on a short distance of the village where it is accompanied by several short, but no less beautiful, courses. The building became a holiday accommodation for schools, scout groups and walkers. It is in the heart of the countryside and surrounded by open space. The house is in the hamlet of Nieder Landenbeck which has 35 inhabitants. The hamlet belongs to the municipality of Eslohe. It is an excellent base for the Winterberg ski-areas. You can enjoy the beautiful walking routes in the nearby Homert National Park. The park is 30 minutes away by car. This is the perfect place to relax. And children can enjoy themselves here to the full. As the house has large, dormitory-type sleeping accommodations, it is perfect for school groups or groups with a large number of children. There are two comfortably furnished holiday homes with their own kitchens and bathrooms on the first floor. These homes combined can cater for 10 people. There is a relaxation area on the lower ground floor with sound equipment. This is a pleasant area for dining, meetings or games. You can also relax in the sauna area. The grounds are spacious.
